Sustainable Engineering Group performed geothermal design services for the LEED Gold Hillcrest Elementary School project. The geothermal system included 150 vertical bores at 300-foot deep.
Other sustainable features of the project include a high efficient building envelope, energy efficient lighting and daylight harvesting. The school has been designed to be 45 percent more efficient than a conventional school.
