Sustainable Engineering Group was hired to provide geothermal engineering and energy modeling services for the new 100,000 sq ft Fran Fruzen Intermediate School. SEG worked with the design team to model a variety of energy conservation measures, including automatic dimming, day lighting controls and high efficiency geothermal heat pumps. The school has been designed to use 49% less energy than a typical K-12 school.
